Each Chicago real estate market presented in the infrasonic format. Main indicator of the real estate market performance is the amount of month supply of inventory. Months of supply is the measure of how many months it would take for the current inventory of homes on the market to sell, if no new homes added to the market.

For example, if there are 100 homes on the market and 120 homes sold in the last 12 month, that would be 10 homes per month, there is a 100 active homes divided by 10 homes on average sold per month would indicate 10 month supply of homes for sale.
