4th Quarter 2017 Real Estate Market Update

Hi everybody, John Herman, PropertyUp and this is the home of the “59 Days Guaranteed Sold Program,” and what I’m going to do today is walk you through the current market.

Today’s current real estate market is good or better than average right now. Being at the end of 2017 we’re looking at the mid to end of October when this video comes out and looking at last month’s statistics for Cary, Illinois.

If you take a look at last month’s statistics for Cary, you will find that the market has been relatively good.  Taking a look at what people have paid is always a good indicator, and if I’m looking at this data correctly, we’re seeing more people pay list price and pay over list price than in the past couple of months.

So what’s happening is the inventory is still a little tight, and there are still buyers out there waiting around for the deals to pop up, so it is still a very, very good time  to list your home. I would tell you if it wasn’t, but the data tells us everything. I like to review  to it for  you at least once a quarter and tell you what’s going on.

So really the market is pretty decent now, it’s almost a seller’s market in some areas, although in some areas it is not.
